Bilaspur: – Bilaspur is a city a district located in beautiful state of India Himachal Pradesh. The hill station is located at an altitude of approx 600 meter above sea level. The city is situated on the banks of Satluj River which traversed it east to west. Bilaspur was founded in 7th century and formerly it was know by the name of ‘Kahlur’, a princely state of British India. The founder of the city was Raja Bir Chand and he also built the temple of Goddess Naina Devi in Bilaspur. The hill station is blessed with beautiful picturesque view of hills and valleys. Chaunto valley, satluj valley and Danwin Valley are three beautiful valleys in Bilaspur. People of Bilaspur speak Bilaspuri, Hindi and Punjabi. The three major religions which found in Bilaspur are Hindu, Muslim and Sikh. The city is approx 85 kms from state capital Shimla and it is located in shivalik range of lower Himalayas.
