Mount Abu: – Mount Abu is a beautiful hill station in Aravalli Range in Sirohi district of Rajasthan, India. It is situated at an altitude of approx 1,219 meters above sea level. It has many ancient and medieval sites that attract many archaeologists from all over the world. According to Hindu myths this beautiful hill station was named after a serpent god, Arbuda and in ancient time it was known as ‘Arbudaranya’. Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan and it is surrounded by hills and lakes. It is famous among tourists because of its Jain temples including the Achaleswar Mahadev Temple, Dilwara Jain Temple and the Kantinath Temple. Nakki Lake is the heart of city and it is another popular visitor attraction in Mount Abu. Beautiful ancient temples and sculptures present the rich tradition and Royal culture of Rajasthan.  Jain and Hindu temples are the main attractions of pilgrims.
