Orchha: – Orchha is a very attractive and exquisite destination in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. It was established in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput chieftain, Rudra Pratap. The beautiful ancient town is located on the banks of the Betwa River, 80 km from Tikamgarh & 15 km from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. The palaces and temples of Orchha are still retaining their original grandeur. Word Orchha means hidden place and this place is famous only because it ancient architecture and elegant monuments.
