Pathankot : – Pathankot is a dirtrict in the Indian state of Punjab. The city is the meeting point of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. Pathakot is close to the border of Pakistan and is the 9th most populous city of Punjab. Chakki river flows close by Pathankot and it situated in the foothills of Kangra and Dalhousie. The city has interesting history and rich culture. The people who live in Pathankot are basically Punjabis and they speak Punjabi language with the affect of Dongri and Himachali. The beautiful culture and rich traditions attracts thousands of Pilgrims every year to Pathankot. Pathankot is an ancient city of Punjab and it was known by the name of ‘Audumbara’ in ancient times.
