Pushkar: – Pushkar is a small town located in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. This place is one of the most ancient cities in India and a home of only one Brahma temples in India as well as in the World. It is about 12 Km North West from Ajmer and one of the oldest and holiest cities of India. Pushkar is one of the five sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus which lies on the shore of ‘Pushkar Lake’. You can catch the glimpse of Rajasthani culture and tradition in Pushkar.

Pushkar consist around 400 temples and 52 Ghats and it is referred as ‘Tirth Raj’ of India. Pushkar is one of the most attractive places for tourists from India as we as from the world. It is also known as ‘the rose garden of Rajasthan’ because the roses cultivated here are exported worldwide.

You can eat Indian, Mexican, Chinese, etc. over here but non–veg and alcohol is strictly prohibited in Pushkar as it is a holy place. It has hotels and restaurants to suit every budget and you can get discounted price in off season but hike during the Pushkar fair. The best time to visit Pushkar is from January to March and October to December because in these months the weather is very pleasant.
