Shirdi: – The holy city is located in Rahata Taluka in Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra, India. This city is known as the home of the popular guru Shirdi Sai Baba and it is one of the richest temples of India. Shirdi is the most famous pilgrimage place in India which receives approx 25,000 devotees on any given day who visit for Darshan in Shirdi Sai Baba. Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra is approx 300 kilometers from Shirdi. Sirdi Sai Baba is very famous all over the world. Sai Baba is worshipped by both Hindu and Muslim devotees. Sai Baba taught everyone a moral thought of love, charity, peace, forgiveness and he was against the system of caste and religion. Sai Baba taught us how to live with unity and equality. His beautiful thought’s still has impacts on people. One of his famous epigrams, “Sabka Malik Ek” is associated with the gods Hinduism, Islam and Sufism, he means to say that god is only one and he governs us all. Sai Baba’s religion, name and birth place was unknown and the name “Sai” was given to him upon his arrival at Shirdi. Sai Baba stayed in Shirdi during 19th century for about 60 years. .
