Vrindavan: – Vrindavan is a sacred place where lord Krishna used to perform ‘Lilas’ with his ‘Gopis’ on the banks of Yamuna River. Vrindavan is located in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The beautiful town is approx 10 km away from Mathura, Lord Krishna’s birth place. It is approx 130 km away from Delhi and 50 km from Agra. Vrindavan has a lot of temples; wherever you go you will only see beautiful temples and listen peaceful sound of temples. Vrindavan is another major place for pilgrims where thousands of pilgrims visit from all over the world.  Whoever visits Mathura will definitely visit this serene place. The city is spiritually connected to Lord Krishna and one can feel the marvelous touch of Hindu mythology in Vrindavan.  One can experience the history of our Indian culture and tradition in Vrindavan and Mathura. This place is visited by tourists and pilgrims throughout the year and one can easily reach Vrindavan in 2-3 hours from Delhi.

Mathura and Vrindavan is described as the twin Holy cities of India and they both are major tourist destination throughout the year. During summers the temperature goes around 27 °C to 45°C, but winters are cool and pleasant. Rainy season is from June to September. So the best time to visit Vrindavan is during winters because summers are quite hot and humid in this region.
